The votes are in for the best goal from Round 4 of the Hyundai A-League 2017/18 Season, with the fans selecting Roy Krishna’s thunderbolt in Wellington Phoenix’s 3-3 draw with Brisbane Roar as the standout.
Krishna hit a rocket from well outside the box which arrowed into the top corner after the Roar defence backed off the Fijian flyer.
His stunning strike collected 55% of the vote from the fans to edge out Melbourne City hero Ross McCormack, whose inch-perfect free-kick helped sink Adelaide United.
The Scotsman’s goal finished with 29% of the vote, with Central Coast Mariners winger Connor Pain’s excellent goal against former club Melbourne Victory third with 16%.
