We’ve chosen 6 attackers who impressed throughout the recent campaign but it’s up to you to decide who earns a spot in the fans’ team of the season.

Bruno Fornaroli (Melbourne City)
Records, rabonas, overhead kicks and so many memorable moments.
Fornaroli did it all in his first season in the Hyundai A-League, displaying an excellent mix of finishing ability, strength, skill and determination.
The 28-year-old played all 29 games in City’s season, finishing with a record-breaking 25 goals as well as the best shooting accuracy in the competition.
Jamie Maclaren (Brisbane Roar)
Very much a bench player at his previous club, Maclaren thrived as a regular starter in Brisbane…and the goals flowed as a result.
The 22-year-old’s pace caused nightmares for opposition defences all season but the improvement of his finishing was a real feature.
He scored 20 goals from 25 appearances in 2015/16 and deservedly won a call-up to Ange Postecoglou’s Caltex Socceroos squad.
Andy Keogh (Perth Glory)
He only played half the season but Keogh certainly showed his ability in the west, playing a key role in the club’s surge to the finals.
On the way to his 10 goals and three assists from just 15 appearances, the Northern Irishman broke an Australian national league record by finding the net in eight consecutive games.
The 29-year-old is not only a superb finisher but also a striker with a relentless work-ethic and never-say-die attitude which was infectious on his teammates.
Besart Berisha (Melbourne Victory)
It was another prolific season from the fiery Albanian, who continued to find the net regularly despite Victory’s inconsistent campaign.
Berisha ended the season with 18 goals from 26 appearances and his passion and commitment to the cause was again a feature of his play.
Brendon Santalab (Western Sydney Wanderers)
“Santa” was used predominantly as a substitute for the Wanderers, starting just five games all season for the Wanderers.
But what an impact he had! The 33-year-old scored six goals from those matches he started as well as another five off the bench to finish with 11 for the season to be Western Sydney’s leading scorer.
Impressively, he averaged a goal every 68 minutes of game-time, the best strike-rate of any player who featured in more than 10 games for the campaign.
Harry Novillo (Melbourne City)
The French winger was an integral member of City’s imposing forward line.
With plenty of pace and trickery in his locker, Novillo was hard to handle for opposition defences and lit up the competition at times.
The 24-year-old played 21 games, and scored 10 goals – many of them sensational strikes – had five assists and 41 successful dribbles.
