Managers who struggled to field a competitive XI last weekend are set to be boosted by the return of a host of international stars to club football.
Golden boot leader Marc Janko is poised to be rushed straight back into the Sky Blues’ side to face Adelaide, while Wellington Phoenix duo Nathan Burns and Michael McGlinchey will slot in for the league-leaders.
Socceroo midfielders Mark Milligan and Aaron Mooy are back for Melbourne Victory and Melbourne City FC respectively, with in-form Olyroo forwards Jamie Maclaren and Andrew Hoole returning for Perth and Newcastle.
Victory will also welcome back Kosta Barbarouses after he was originally selected in the All Whites squad which went down to Korea Republic and Daniel Georgievski who was part of the FYR Macedonia squad that drew with the Socceroos.
