There were many shrewd deals made across the Hyundai A-League in June, but fans have voted Brisbane Roar’s signing of Roy O’Donovan as the pick of the bunch.
O’Donovan became the first new arrival of Robbie Fowler’s era in June, after the Irish striker had parted ways with Newcastle Jets.
He’ll look to become the spearhead of the Roar attack under Premier League legend Fowler after penning a two-year deal with the Queenslanders.

With 36% of the vote, O’Donovan’s signing was declared the best piece of business from June, shading Sydney FC’s capture of Kosta Barbarouses from Melbourne Victory (25%) and Pirmin Schwegler’s (14%) arrival to Western Sydney Wanderers.
