Adelaide United midfielder Emily Condon has re-signed with the Liberty A-League club on a one-season contract, with the option to extend for an additional year.
A Matildas debutant in 2018, Condon has made 104 appearances for the Reds since joining in 2014 and shares the record for the most Liberty A-League games played in club history.
Condon reached the 100-game milestone last season when Adelaide faced Central Coast Mariners in Gosford and will continue to add to her tally through the next season and beyond, should the 26-year-old choose to activate the one-year extension option included in her new contract.

Described as “a cornerstone of the team” in Adelaide’s confirmation of her new deal, Condon recommits to the club at a time when improvement across the board is needed to bounce back from collecting the wooden spoon in the 2023-24 season.
“I’m incredibly proud to continue my journey with Adelaide United,” Condon said.
“This club means so much to me, and I’m eager to keep pushing myself and helping the team achieve great things. I’m looking forward to what the future holds.”
In the Liberty A-League off-season, Condon joined NPLW SA club Salisbury Inter where she scored two goals in 11 games; she joins Katie Bowler, Zoe Tolland, Meleri Mullan, Sarah Morgan, Ella Tonkin and Nanako Sasaki as the seventh Adelaide re-signing ahead of the new campaign, whilst Matilda McNamara and Tiarna Karambasis have both joined the club.
Adelaide United ahead of football Marius Zanin says Condon will bring several important attributes back to the club as she builds on her record-equalling appearances tally in Red.
“Emily has been a fantastic servant to Adelaide United, and we’re thrilled to have her continue with us for another season,” Zanin said.
“Her experience, leadership, and talent are invaluable assets to our squad, and we’re excited to see her contribute even more in the coming seasons.”
