Dazzling Newcastle Jets thrash Wanderers as finals football looms for Merrick’s men

A slick Newcastle Jets have blown away Western Sydney Wanderers with a brilliant and emphatic display to confirm they are the real deal after a 4-0 win. 

The Jets were outstanding throughout, playing with pace, enthusiasm and skill while converting their chances clinically. 

Wanderers simply had no answer to the Jets’ non-stop, incisive and attacking football at McDonald Jones Stadium on Friday night.

  • JETS IN CONTROL: The home side pressed incessantly to dominate WSW in the opening 10 mins. They also had an offside goal.
