GAME-BY-GAME PREVIEW: Everything you need to know for Round 5 in the Ninja A-League
“I was surprised by Antoni calling me and asking me to come to play for Canberra but, after I got over that initial shock, I was sold on the opportunity to play for such a wonderful football club,” Ayson said.
“Canberra United has a great reputation, and Antoni really impressed me with his vision for how he wants the team to play, and how I fit into that system. I am excited by the prospect of playing overseas and meeting my new teammates.
“I am equally anticipating playing in front of what I have been told is an exceptional fan base, who get behind the team and offer great support. I can’t wait to show everyone what I can do and be a part of Canberra United.”

“Madison is a player who I identified as being the kind of footballer who would thrive in the environment that I am building here at Canberra United,” said head coach Antoni Jagarinec.
“She is a good ball-playing defender, who is decent in the air, and possesses an excellent turn of pace.
“Her style should complement our other defenders perfectly and clinching her signature gives us more options, and a variety of ways we can play at the back.”
