Canberra United have signed CommBank Junior Matildas forward Sienna Dale ahead of the Ninja A-League 2025-26 season.
Fresh off her third season of first-grade Football with Manly United, Dale is known for her pace and eye for goal and will be a welcome addition to Canberra’s attacking firepower.
Dale has played 38 games in the NPLW NSW with Manly United, scoring eight goals, while she named striker of the month in August, with three goals in five games.

“We’re super excited to have Sienna join the squad ahead of the Ninja A-League season,” said Canberra head coach Antoni Jagarinec.
“She is a young forward on the rise, and has already shown her quality on the international stage with the Junior Matildas.
“Sienna fits perfectly into the profile of the type of player we want to bring to Canberra United, a young and hungry player who is coachable and takes on the advice of experienced players. She’ll gain plenty of confidence as a player from being in and around this group.”

Sienna’s performances for Manly United in 2023 attracted the attention of the Junior Matildas setup and in September of that year, she played a starring role as Australia qualified for the 2024 Under-17 Women’s Asian Cup.
Not content with a match-winning double when Australia beat Vietnam 2-1, Dale scored all four goals as Australia defeated Bangladesh 4-0.
“I’m incredibly excited to be joining Canberra United for the new season,” said Dale.
“It’s been my dream to play professionally and I’m incredibly grateful to Ant and the rest of the coaching staff for giving me this opportunity.
“I can’t wait to get down to Canberra and start training with the team, and learn as much as I can off of everyone.”
