Canberra United have re-signed goalkeeping duo Sally James and Coco Majstorovic, star midfielder Mary Stanic-Floody and defender Hayley Taylor-Young for the Ninja A-League 2025-26 season.
The inclusion of the quartet brings Canberra’s numbers up to 10 with plenty more due to sign on the dotted line over the next few weeks ahead of pre-season commencing in late September, having already seen A-Leagues legend Michelle Heyman re-commit.
The duo between the sticks return after a successful 2024-25 campaign in which James played 24 matches, being in goal for all bar 10 minutes of the Ninja A-League season, the minutes in which Majstorovic took over against Western Sydney Wanderers at Wanderers Park.

“We are delighted to be able to welcome these four players back into the Canberra United family for the 2025-26 Ninja A-League season,” said Canberra head coach Antoni Jagarinec.
“It’s great to be able to have some continuity in the squad, particularly between the posts where reliability is a vital asset. In Sally and Coco, we have exactly that.
“Mary was an integral part of our attacking set-up last season, her passing range and ability to strike some spectacular goals making her a firm favourite with our fans.
“Hayley has always enjoyed the same rapport with our support, being a Canberra local and a player who always gives 100% to the cause.”
