Brisbane Roar have signed Olivia Sekany on loan from National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) club Racing Louisville for the 2024-25 Ninja A-League season.
The 25-year-old American goalkeeper, who has also signed a new contract with her parent club in the USA, joins the Roar from Racing Louisville until March 2025.
Sekany earned a contract with Racing Louisville following a successful trial in 2023 and made 26 appearances in her rookie season.

She also played for the University of Washington and who helped guide the team to the regional semi-finals in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Tournament.
Sekany holds the record for the lowest goals-against average in program history.
“I am so excited to be joining Brisbane Roar for the 2024/25 A-League season,” Sekany said, with the Roar scheduled to kick-off their season away to Canberra United on November 2.
