Brisbane Roar have re-signed star defender Deborah-Anne De La Harpe for the upcoming 2024-25 Liberty A-League season.

De La Harpe is back for more in Brisbane after the Republic of Ireland international joined the Roar from Danish outfit HB Koge in December.

A Championship winner with Sydney FC in 2022-23 having previously represented Perth Glory, the 24-year-old made 13 appearances and score one goal for the Roar last season.

“I’m excited to re-sign for Roar this upcoming season. It’s such a great club with high ambitions and I really wanted to come back to be a part of that and build off last season with Alex,” said De La Harpe, who earned her first senior international call-up in February 2023 as a late inclusion to the Republic of Ireland squad.

“I’m really excited for the season ahead and for what we can achieve as a team and club because I know it will be great.

“I’m also looking forward to seeing our amazing fans as well.

“My goal for this upcoming season is to win. It will be great for us to build off last season and get to the finals and I have no doubt we will achieve this.”
