A-Leagues sensation & star graduate among top-100 teenagers in world football ft. Lamine Yamal

Isuzu UTE A-League young gun Dylan Leonard is among the top 100 Under-20 players worldwide in a list shared by the CIES Football Observatory.

The Football Observatory presented the 200 footballers worldwide who have not yet turned 20, with the best CIES ratings for matches played in 2025. The score is the average of two values: a performance index calculated from the data exclusively collected by Impect, and an experience index taking into account minutes played, weighted by the sporting level of the matches.

On an outfield players list topped by Barcelona superstar Lamine Yamal (97.7) and featuring the likes of Paris Saint-Germain’s Warren Zaire-Emery (87.8), Real Madrid’s Franco Mastantuono (85.4), Arsenal talent Myles Lewis-Skelly (83.9), Jobe Bellingham (82.0) of Borussia Dortmund and Tottenham’s Lucas Bergvall (80.7) among others, Western United sensation Leonard ranks 71st (74.9).

The 17-year-old defender took the A-Leagues by storm in his debut season, becoming the club’s youngest ever debutant and goalscorer in the Isuzu UTE A-League.
