Brisbane Roar signing Bente Jansen continued her red-hot start to the Ninja A-League campaign, scoring two goals in three second-half minutes to seal a 3-2 win over Perth Glory at HBF Park on Friday night.
Matildas forward Grace Kuilamu put Brisbane ahead on the road before a stunning strike from Rola Badawiya squared the ledger before half-time; Jansen was quiet in the first half but was the decisive factor in the contest after the break, scoring twice off Sharn Freier assists to give Brisbane breathing space.
It was breathing space the visitors ultimately needed as Ella Lincoln came off the bench to score for the hosts, but it was too little, too late as the Roar held on the claim three points.
