Canberra United head coach Antoni Jagarinec has been named Coach of the Month in the Ninja A-League for December.
Jagarinec has claimed the second managerial honour of the 2025-26 campaign after guiding his side to an unbeaten run in December.
Playing five games during the voting period, Jagarinec’s side reeled off four wins and a draw to see them sit two points clear of their nearest rivals at the top of the ladder.

Jagarinec was nominated for the December award via Football Coaches Australia’s monthly nomination process.
Australian Professional Leagues (APL) partnered with FCA in 2022-23 to help provide the recognition required for outstanding coaching performances across both the Ninja A-League and Isuzu UTE A-League.
The FCA assembled an experienced panel that decides the monthly nominees and then subsequent winners for Coach of the Month in both leagues.
The December eligibility period included Rounds 6-10 of the Ninja A-League season, with games between December 5 and December 31 considered by the FCA Panel when voting for the Coach of the Month nominees.
As such, Jagarinec guided his side to wins over Melbourne Victory, Sydney FC, Melbourne City and Newcastle Jets whilst also drawing 1-1 with the Central Coast Mariners.
