When asked by to Fox Sports whether he’d be in Sydney next week to face the Sky Blues in Round 16, his answer was non-committal.
“I’m not sure… we’ll have to wait and see,” Holland said.
However, Reds coach Gui Amor told reporters later Holland was off in the window to the Chinese Super League, though he wasn’t sure if a new deal had been signed.
“Yes, he goes tomorrow or after tomorrow.
“The market is open now and this possibility is open and he goes to China.
“I don’t know if he signed or not signed in this moment, but I know that he goes,” Amor reportedly said when asked about his star midfielder.

“We know Melbourne play a high line and high-risk football, so those late runs sometimes their midfield doesn’t track those runs,” said Holland.
“We tried to force the issue a little bit and in the end we got away with it.
“It was well deserved by the boys. We’ve had so many games where we’ve given it away late.
“We have so much quality in this team and this season we haven’t exactly shown it.
“And finally we win one late.”
