Melbourne Victory attacker Jai Ingham will square off against a number of his international team-mates when Victory host Wellington on Sunday night.
Phoenix players Andrew Durante, Michael McGlinchey, Tom Doyle, Alex Rufer and Shane Smeltz were all part of the New Zealand side that beat Fiji 2-0 in Wellington on Tuesday night, while goalkeeper Glen Moss was an unused substitute.
Ingham enjoyed a bright 30-minute debut off the bench.
“They’re all great guys but when you go back to your club and you play against them, you play for the jersey that you put on,” Ingham said after his Kiwi debut.Â
“I go back and hope to keep performing for Melbourne Victory.
“Hopefully we keep winning and head onto the finals and me and Marco [Rojas] look to have a good performance for them and then lead into finals.”

Ingham’s younger brother, Brisbane Roar defender Dane, also debuted for New Zealand, playing 90 minutes at right-back against Fiji.
“He’s a very good kid and he had a great debut tonight, I thought,” said Jai Ingham.
“He’s very confident for his age, just 17.
“It’s an amazing achievement not just for him but for my family as well.
