Macarthur FC midfielder Daniel De Silva has penned a new one-year contract with the Bulls ahead of the new Isuzu UTE A-League campaign.
Having officially departed at the end of the 2023-24 season following the expiration of his contract, De Silva has now signed on for another season in Black and White following positive talks with the club.
Originally joining the Bulls in 2021, De Silva has so far amassed 51 appearances, scoring 4 goals, and is likely to be a key member for the side looking to improve upon their fifth placed finish last season.
“I’m happy to be back with Macarthur,” said the 27-year-old after inking his new one-year deal in Campbelltown.
“I am determined to help the club achieve success and win some more silverware. I’m excited to make this season the best one yet.”
Albeit a familiar face to Bulls fans, De Silva’s re-signing is the latest piece in the puzzle for Sterjovski as he looks to rejuvenate his side ahead of season 2024-25.

With 12 players departing Macarthur at the end of last season Sterjovski and the Bulls’ football department have been busy recruiting new faces for the upcoming season with former Sydney FC captain Luke Brattan headlining their recruitment drive.
Having arrived on a one-year deal, Brattan joined the likes of former Melbourne City duo Marin Jakolis and Joshua Damevski in moving to Campbelltown Sports Stadium while Liam Rose and Melbourne Victory forward Chris Ikonomidis have also joined the Bulls.
