The teams are IN ahead of Round 11 in the Isuzu UTE A-League.
Socceroos quartet Aziz Behich (Melbourne City), Lawrence Thomas (Wanderers), Bruno Fornaroli (Melbourne Victory) and Joe Gauci (Adelaide) have left their respective clubs to join the national squad ahead of the Asian Cup.
Macarthur FC, meanwhile, have released an update on a number of players preparing to spend lengthy stints on the sidelines.
Full-back Matthew Millar suffered a quad injury on the eve of Macarthur’s clash with Western Sydney in Round 10; he’ll miss more than three months of football for the Bulls, along with Daniel De Silva who tore a hamstring against Perth Glory on December 23. De Silva will miss between eight-to-12 weeks as he recovers from the hamstring injury.
Adelaide United could give an Isuzu UTE A-League debut to another exciting young prospect, as Fabian Talladira comes into the selection mix for Round 11.
Talladira, 17, was one of five Reds selected in the Australia Under-17 squad for the 2023 U17 AFC Asian Cup, and has earned senior minutes under head coach Carl Veart in the Australia Cup, but is yet to make his A-Leagues debut.
