The Mariners thought they’d taken the lead on the approach to half-time when Sabit Ngor converted Lucas Mauragis’ cross, however the winger had mis-timed his run and was correctly flagged offside.
Redmayne was called upon plenty more in the second half but while City were dominating possession of the ball it was City keeper Patrick Beach who had to be on his guard late in the game; Mariners substitute Nico Duarte turning his header from close range towards goal which was tipped round the post.
