Adelaide United head coach Adrian Stenta has been promoted to full-time head coach, the first of its kind for the Liberty A-League team in South Australia.
Stenta is Adelaide’s first-ever full-time A-League Women’s head coach as the Reds look to capitalise on the FIFA Women’s World Cup, which captured the hearts and minds of fans across Australia.

He has been at the helm since 2020-21, leading Adelaide to their maiden Finals Series the following season before missing out on the top four last term.
It is a huge boost as Adelaide prepare to kick-off their 2023-24 Liberty A-League season against Canberra United at Coopers Stadium on Sunday and you can buy tickets here.
“The appointment of Adrian as a full-time coach is a significant move for our A-Leagues program,” said Adelaide CEO Nathan Kosmina.
“We identified this season as the perfect opportunity to consolidate the strides made in our own program over the last few years, along with the boom of the FIFA Women’s World Cup, and we can’t wait to see further progress of our football program on the back of this investment.
“The club is grateful to and congratulates Adrian, and we are extremely confident he can lead United to another A-League finals series and continue to develop the next generation of South Australian talent.”
