Sydney FC have landed a huge transfer coup ahead of the new Liberty A-League season, signing Young Matilda Hana Lowry on a two-year deal.
Lowry’s move has now been confirmed with the 21-year-old signing a deal with the reigning champions until the end of the 2025-26 Liberty A-League season following her Perth Glory departure earlier on Thursday.
“I am so excited to be joining the biggest club in the country” said Lowry after inking her new contract with the Sky Blues.
“Sydney have always been challenging at the top of the table and I believe that they can take my game to another level.
“I will try my absolute hardest to help this club win more silverware and win their third Championship in a row and I can’t wait to get started.”
Lowry leaves the Glory having established herself as a key component in Perth after making her debut with the club in the 2019-20 season.

“Hana is an outstanding player full of class and quality and she is a fantastic signing for the club,” said Juric.
“She has the quality to go to another few levels in her play and I am looking forward to seeing her grow, shine and become a Sydney FC star.
“Hana is the type of player fans come to watch. I have no doubt with her play she will fit in well at Sydney and in no time will become a fan favourite.”
Lowry will now link-up with former Perth Glory teammate Millie Farrow, who joined Sydney FC earlier on in the transfer window, and becomes the club’s fourth signing of the off-season joining the likes of NPLW NSW goalscoring phenomenon Amber Luchtmeijer and new first-choice goalkeeper Brianna Edwards.
