Brisbane Roar have announced the departure of assistant coach Luciano Trani, effective immediately.
Trani leaves the Isuzu UTE A-League outfit to pursue new opportunities following his spell as assistant head coach and interim head coach in Brisbane.
The 57-year-old moved to Brisbane following Ross Aloisi’s appointment heading into the 2023-24 campaign and the A-Leagues stalwart took charge on an interim basis after the former departed for a reunion with Kevin Muscat in China.

After overseeing an 8-1 loss to Melbourne City last month, Trani returned to his assistant role as the Roar turned to Ben Cahn on a permanent basis.
“His strategic contributions were pivotal in the team’s successful campaign to the Australia Cup final and a strong start to the 2023-24 Isuzu UTE A-League season,” the statement read.
“The club extends its deepest gratitude to Luciano for his dedication, hard work, and passion he brought to the Men’s program.
“Brisbane Roar FC and its community wish Luciano the utmost success in his future endeavours and thank him for his service to the club.”
