The Australian Professional Leagues (APL) has officially launched the playing kit for the 2024 A-League All Stars, manufactured by iconic international sports brand Kappa, as well as the first players of the 2024 A-League All Stars Men and Women squads as voted by fans.
It’s just over a month until the historic A-League All Stars double-header at Marvel Stadium that will see the best of the Isuzu UTE A-League Men take on English Premier League side Newcastle United, before the best of the Liberty A-League Women face Arsenal FC Women and Matildas stars Caitlin Foord, Steph Catley and Kyra Cooney-Cross.
For the A-League All Stars Men, the electrifying pair of Nestory Irankunda and Daniel Penha have been named as the first two squad members as voted by fans.

Irankunda, who will become a two-time A-League All Star, has lit up the Isuzu UTE A-League Men’s with Adelaide United and will play his final match in Australia as part of the A-League All Stars Men squad before his historic move to European giants Bayern Munich.
Western United star Daniel Penha is also set to pull on an A-League All Stars kit for a second time after featuring against FC Barcelona in 2022. The Brazilian’s selection marks a standout season in his return to the Isuzu UTE A-League Men.
The A-League All Stars Women has sent out a statement of intent to Arsenal FC Women with the announcement of Melbourne Victory’s Alex Chidiac and Melbourne City’s Hannah Wilkinson as two founding players of the first-ever All Stars Women squad.
Chidiac, who was a member of the CommBank Matildas’ 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup squad, is set to be at her mesmerising best off the back of a season that saw her help Melbourne Victory reach another Liberty A-League Women’s Finals Series.
For Wilkinson, selection in the A-League All Stars Women caps an incredible 12 months headlined by scoring the first goal of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup on home soil in New Zealand and notching nine goals for Liberty A-League Women Premiers Melbourne City.
The A-Leagues All Star double-header will be played at Marvel Stadium on Friday 24 May as part of Global Football Week Melbourne which kicks off with an all English Premier Premier clash on Wednesday 22 May at MCG between Tottenham Hotspur FC vs Newcastle United FC.

The A-League All Stars Women team is set to assemble in Melbourne on Saturday 18 May with the A-League All Stars Men team assembling on Tuesday 21 May ahead of the historic double-header.
