Bulls FC Academy are not only champions. They are history-makers.
The Bulls – Macarthur women’s academy outfit – soared to new heights in 2025. Not content with a maiden NPLW NSW Premiership, they backed it up with an historic Championship over the weekend.
A wild 4-3 win against rivals APIA Leichhardt in Saturday’s Grand Final sealed the double for the Bulls in “one of the greatest Grand Finals in NPL NSW history”.
It is an unprecedented feat.

“We are proud of this group of players. To achieve the Premiership and Championship double is very special,” said Macarthur CEO Sam Krslovic.
“This group has showed courage and resilience while sticking to our football principles. It was a pleasure to watch.”
It was an extraordinary season led by Marti Garces in his debut campaign as head coach.
Despite serious squad overhaul following the departures of the likes of Jess Seaman, Bella Volkanovski, Erica Di Sciascio and Trudy Simmons, the Bulls could not be tamed.
The Bulls enjoyed an unbeaten season on home soil – the only team to do so in 2025.
Led by captain Liz Grey – the Grand Fina’s Player of the Match, Isabella Coco-Di Sipio and Petria Phillips spearheaded the team with 17 and 10 goals respectively.
In a jaw-dropping Grand Final, it was Grey who helped deliver silverware via an incredible extra-time winner after the Bulls twice came from behind to force an additional 30 minutes. Tamires Souza and Claudia Valletta sparked the second-half fightback before Jynaya Dos Santos struck in extra time.

“The pride, passion and ‘never stop’ believing mentality of the Bulls drove the girls onto victory this season,” Bulls women’s academy technical director Allen Ellis told aleagues.com.au.
“From the time they first got together at the start of the year to paint their own home dressing room at Northbridge, the girls’ collective spirit and unique sense of belonging to something bigger than themselves proved to be the driving force behind the team’s ultimate success on the field.
“In short, the girls were behaving like champions off the field well before they finally lifted the champions trophy.
“Led by captain Liz Grey, the team remained undefeated at home and thanks to this achievement, won the double in style.
“Of course, all fairytale endings have humble beginnings and it goes without saying that some of the biggest supporters of our First Grade women are the next generation of up and coming Bulls FC Academy players, many of whom were on hand to cheer the girls home on Saturday.
“If their talent is anything to go by, the future is bright at the Bulls.”
