The final 2024 A-League All Stars Men squad has been confirmed ahead of friday nights blockbuster clash against Premier League heavyweights Newcastle United.
Following this weekend’s exciting Semi Finals, 2024 A-Leagues All Stars Head Coach Patrick Kisnorbo has added eight to his final squad of 21 players, with the additions consisting of players from Sydney FC and Wellington Phoenix after their seasons came to an end.
Wellington Phoenix has been rewarded for their outstanding season with five players added to the squad including Alex Paulsen following his breakout season, young gun Ben Old, defensive duo Tim Payne and Scott Wootton, and midfielder Bozhidar Kraev.
Three players have also been added from Sydney FC including Luke Brattan, and further defensive reinforcement in Rhyan Grant and Jordan Courtney-Perkins.
These eight players will join the full squad in camp tomorrow with an open training session for fans to be held on Tuesday 21 May at AAMI Park with tickets available now for $10 via www.ticketek.com.au
A-League All Stars Men Head Coach Patrick Kisnorbo said: “We had a busy weekend moving the magnets around as we watched the Semi Final second legs unfold. We wish the Central Coast Mariners and Melbourne Victory all the best and we welcome players from Sydney FC and Wellington Phoenix into the fold.
“This squad is a fantastic mix of the best talent across the A-Leagues, including seven under-23s and four internationals. We now have four days together to build the synergy and game plan so that we can take it to Newcastle United on Friday night.

Patrick Kisnorbo named A-League All Stars Men boss
A-Leagues fans will find a familiar face in the dugout when the A-League All Stars Men face Newcastle United in Melbourne on May 24, with former Melbourne City boss Patrick Kisnorbo appointed head coach.
Kisnorbo will lead an experience coaching setup which will feature a vast array of expertise from across the Isuzu UTE A-League Men. His assistant coaches will be Newcastle Jets head coach Rob Stanton who will feature in an A-League All Stars Men’s coach staff for the second time and Adelaide United assistant coach Mark Milligan who, under Carl Veart, has nurtured some of the Isuzu UTE A-Leagues’ brightest talents.
Western United and A-Leagues great Michael Theo has been appointed as goalkeeper coach for the A-League All Stars Men, rounding out a coaching staff who are set for a priceless experience leading a squad of some of the very best in the Isuzu UTE A-League Men.

The 2024 A-League All Stars Women head coach Joe Montemurro has officially selected his 19-player squad ahead of their tantalising showdown with Women’s Super League (WSL) giants Arsenal as part of Global Football Week Melbourne.
Headlined by the inclusion of current and legendary CommBank Matildas Cortnee Vine, Michelle Heyman, Tameka Yallop, Alex Chidiac, Lydia Williams, Elise Kellond-Knight and Kyah Simon, the squad will see a star-studded side of the best local talent take the field at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne on Friday, May 24.

What is the all stars?
The A-Leagues All Stars are back to take on giants of English football as part of Global Football Week Melbourne on Friday 24 May, 2024. Expect a stellar line up of stars from the Liberty A-League Women and Isuzu UTE A-League Men, and some of the best from the English Premier League and Women’s Super League.
For the first time, A-League All Stars Women will take on Arsenal Women, which could see Cortnee Vine and Michelle Heyman face their CommBank Matildas teammates Caitlin Foord, Kyra Cooney-Cross and Steph Catley in, what is set to be, a Matildas filled contest.
On an historic night, the A-League All Stars Men will take on English Premier League giants Newcastle United as part of a doubleheader, in front of a home crowd at Marvel Stadium, Melbourne on Friday 24 May, 2024.

The final 2024 A-League All Stars Men squad has been confirmed ahead of the blockbuster clash against Premier League heavyweights Newcastle United on Friday night.*Fan voting does not guarantee player selection into the A-Leagues All Stars squads. Coaching staff will take into consideration players with highest fan votes, with the decision on the final squad made by coaches and the APL Commissioner. The A-League All Stars Women squad will consist of 19 players and be subject to injury and availability. The initial A-League All Stars Men squad will consist of 23-26 players, with a final squad of 18-20 players subject to injury, availability and participation in the 2024 Isuzu UTE A-League Men’s Grand Final.
