We’ve taken a look at Opta Data for all the stats ahead of Round 20 of the Hyundai A-League and there are some interesting statistical talking points for all five matches.

Newcastle Jets v Sydney FC

*Newcastle Jets have picked up a Hyundai A-League-high 52 yellow cards this season, while opponents Sydney FC have the most reds (four), so expect fireworks on Friday night. 

*Sydney FC have won more games in the last two weeks (two) than Newcastle have all season in the Hyundai A-League.

*Nine of Marc Janko’s 12 Hyundai A-League goals this season have come away from home (75 percent).

* Sydney FC have not conceded a single goal in their last 361 minutes of Hyundai A-League action against Newcastle Jets.

Wellington Phoenix v Adelaide United

*Sergio Cirio has scored in his last three Hyundai A-League appearances against Wellington Phoenix, but all of his six goals in 2014-15 have come in home matches.

*Wellington have won a Hyundai A-League-high six penalties this season, but opponents Adelaide have conceded the fewest (one).

Melbourne Victory v Perth Glory

*Melbourne Victory have scored in 14 successive A-League games against Perth Glory.

*Melbourne Victory have scored exactly three goals in three of their last four Hyundai A-League games, but they have also conceded exactly three goals in three of these four games as well.

*Despite being league leaders, Perth have averaged the lowest possession figure in the Hyundai A-League so far this season (44.1 percent).

Central Coast Mariners v Melbourne City

*Aaron Mooy has created a league-high 51 goalscoring chances this season in the Hyundai A-League.

*Central Coast Mariners are unbeaten in their last eight Hyundai A-League games against Melbourne City FC (W5 D3).

*The Mariners Liam Reddy has been forced in to making 68 saves this season in the Hyundai A-League; more than any other goalkeeper.

*Jacob Melling has accumulated a Hyundai A-League-high seven yellow cards this season for Melbourne City, including two in his last three appearances.

Brisbane Roar FC v Western Sydney Wanderers FC
