This season we will continue to show the nation and the world that the Hyundai A-League has the best atmosphere in Australian sport as we aim to empower more fans to get involved with the competition.
With the creative juices flowing in anticipation for what is set to be another amazing season on and off the pitch we aimed to bring to life just how powerful a Hyundai A-League match is.
Players talk about fans being the 12th player. That synergy between player and fan creates an energy that-s manifested on the pitch – players run faster when fans clap harder, supporters jump longer so keepers leap higher. When this eco system of energy is at its peak, it can change the course of a match.
To launch the season, we enlisted a group of passionate fans gathered at a warehouse to chant, cheer, run, jump, just like they do when they go to a match. We harnessed their power in a unique way – distilling the atmosphere of a Hyundai A-League match into branded AA batteries.
The batteries have been packaged up and sent to key stakeholders and football fans Australia wide in hope they use these batteries to power their TV remote, their mouse or anything that helps them get behind their team and the Hyundai A-League.
Ultimately, we want to show people that the unique energy of the Hyundai A-League atmosphere powers the game, we want to show fans ‘You power the game-.
