The bushfire crisis that has engulfed Australia in recent weeks has touched the entire nation, with a huge groundswell of support and fundraising taking place to assist those affected.
And the Hyundai A-League and the clubs are playing their part, getting behind the cause to raise some much-needed funds to assist families and their broader communities affected by the fires or drought.
The Hyundai A-League are teaming up with Rural Aid to connect the football community with the farmers, firefighters and their families who are in desperate need of drought and bushfire assistance.
Rural Aid’s hay delivery services are needed more than ever in drought and fire-affected communities throughout New South Wales, Queensland, Victory and South Australia. Rounds 14 and 15 will be dedicated to their cause.
At each of the matches in those rounds, fans will be able to show their appreciation to the emergency services and volunteers who have worked tirelessly throughout this crisis and also acknowledge the tragic loss of life in NSW, Victoria and SA.

Adelaide United
The Reds are doing their bit by auctioning off both a home and away jersey, fully signed by the Hyundai A-League squad. The auction ends on Friday, January 17 and you can bid on the Jerseys HERE.
Reds director of football Bruce Djite, goalkeeper coach Eugene Galekovic and a number of board members also donated $5 for every pass the team made in last weekend’s clash against Sydney FC.

Roar have home matches in both Round 14 and 15 and are providing limited-edition, signed Hyundai A-League 2019/20 black jerseys for auction.
All proceeds to be donated to Rural Aid’s bushfire and drought relief efforts.
There will also be the opportunity to donate at the venue for the home games at Suncorp Stadium on Saturday, 11 January and Saturday, 18 January.

The Sky Blues are launching an online auction featuring some of the best memorabilia from recent seasons, before hosting a telethon from Sydney FC HQ with the club’s Hyundai A-League and Westfield W-League stars manning the phones.
Both of these efforts will then culminate in the Sky Blues’ Westfield W-League clash against Brisbane Roar at Leichhardt Oval on Thursday 16 January (kick off 7:30pm AEDT), with a $2 donation from each ticket sold, and monies being collected by volunteers at the game, being pooled together to support Rural Aid.

Phoenix are donating $2 for every ticket purchased for Saturday’s home clash against Western Sydney Wanderers FC, while Sky Stadium will also match that figure.
The club will also donate $1,000 for every goal scored by the Phoenix against the Wanderers, while there will be people collecting donations at the match.

Western United are turning their January 19 clash against Central Coast at Geelong’s GMHBA Stadium into a special day of entertainment and fundraising for bushfire disaster relief while also honouring the brave emergency services and volunteers and paying respects to those who’ve lost their lives in the recent bushfires.
The club will make a donation on behalf of every member who attends on the day.
Skipper Alessandro Diamanti is also going to auction off a playing kit from last weekend’s clash with Melbourne City.
